Khadija Kausar
Khadija
Khadija's family came from Lahore Pakistan, she was born in Dubai, and arrived in Canada in 2017.
Khadija is an amazing multi-talented actor, singer, dancer, writer and poet.
Winning numerous awards for each of her talents including:
Winner Interschool Dance Competition (3 times)
Winner Interschool Theatre Competition
Winner interschool singing competition (2 times)
Winner intercollege drama competition
2005 – First place in the intercollege dance competition on a Bollywood fusion with variations of daf instrument and ribbons
2006 – Won the leaders award for representing a stall of my country
2008 – Won the first award in writing competition
2009 – Won the dance competition – with variations of diya and drapes
She has performed on Bollywood songs and in theatre productions in both Dubai and Canada
She is currently working on 5 books - In The Hoop, A Tribute to a Lover, A Journey to Nothing and Everything, Untethered and Unheard, Revival of Self.
She is also a prolific poet, four of her poems will be included on the album, “Songs From An Eastern Western
In 2010 Khadija started practicing yoga and meditation and created small community groups which she continues to run
She is a physiotherapist by profession, and has practiced in Dubai, Qatar, Singapore, Malaysia, Pakistan and now in Canada. Currently working with seniors and running group exercise and falls prevention classes

Walter Borden
Walter
Walter Borden is an internationally acclaimed actor, poet and playwright and a nationally recognized activist and teacher. Born and educated in Nova Scotia he received his dramatic training at Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York.
His work has been critically acclaimed in Europe, the United States and throughout Canada, where he has performed in every major theatre in every province. He performed for five seasons at Stratford Festival where he was instrumental in the Festival's presenting its first Black production in its then fifty year history, Harlem Duet, by Governor General Award Winning playwright, D'janet Sears, and which, incidentally, recently completed an acclaimed revival at Tarragon Theatre.
Mr. Borden's theatrical accomplishments have been prodigious: Shakespeare – Hamlet (Hamlet), Merchant of Venice (Shylock), Henry VIII (Cardinal Wolsey), Romeo and Juliet (Friar Lawrence), King Lear (Lear); Moliere – Tartuffe (Tartuffe); Pinter – The Dwarfs; Beckett – Endgame; Krapp's Last Tape; Greek Classics – Agamemnon, Electra, The Flies, Medea; Modern Classics – The Odyssey (by Derek Walcott); Orpheus Descending, Night of the Iguana (by Tennessee Williams); The Piano Lesson ( by August Wilson); Driving Miss Daisy (by Alfred Urhy) ... eleven productions. Mr. Borden has served as Artist-in-Residenceat Acadia University and has recorded the critically acclaimed “Walter Borden Reads the Sonnets of William Shakespeare to the Music of Fernando Sor”.
His recognition includes: the Order of Canada, the Order of Nova Scotia, the Portia White Prize, the Leslie Yeo Prize for Volunteerism, the Queen Elizabeth II Golden and Diamond Jubilee Medals, The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Achievement Award, The Montreal English Theatre Award – Best Actor, The Merritt Award – Best Actor, The Dora Mavor Moore Award – Best Ensemble, Honorary Doctor of Letters (Acadia University), Honorary Doctor of Civil Law ( Saint Mary's University), and listed in Who's Who in Canada 2018.

keith whiting
Keith
Keith (Keef) Whiting is an award winning producer, writer and songwriter. Starting out as a drummer at the age of 7.
He played his first paying gig at the age of 12. At 15 he joined the band Rare Amber which toured England and Germany before recording their critically acclaimed self-titled album.
Leaving the band he moved into engineering at Phillips Studio in London where he engineered albums for ELO, Dusty Springfield, Cleo Laine, The Move, Ben Webster, Scott Walker, Rod McKuen and many others.
Moving to Decca Records he refined his production skills. Then spent time in Nigeria teaching engineering, and producing the album “Blo Step 3”, recognized as "The Holy Grail of Afro-Funk Music".
Moving to Canada, his first production was the Gold Certified album Black Noise by FM. Black Noise was also listed as one of the 50 Top Progressive Rock Albums of All Time, by Rolling Stone magazine.
More albums followed with: Marc Jordan, Ken Tobias, Aaron Davis, Doug Riley, Pat Labarbara, Dianne Heatherington, Danny Weis, Jackie Richardson, Professor Longhair, and many leading jazz Artists. He produced classical music albums with Andrew Davis, Julius Baker, Jeanne Baxtresser, The Canadian Brass, The Bowkun Trio, and Valerie Tryon. As senior music producer for CBC radio he worked with many great international artists including: Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Oscar Peterson, Jaco Pastorius, Keith Jarrett, Mel Torme, Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Roberta Flack, The Temptations, Donovan, Robert Palmer, and many others.
As a mixer of musical hybrids, he created the Juno nominated group Kaleefah, fusing African, South American and western music. He co-founded The Gospel Project an eighteen-voice choir that appeared on CBC performing with Billy Preston and Celine Dion.
In 1991 he founded KC Records, scoring hits with, “Someone for Me” by Selections, “Go Go Dancer by Christine, and the Juno nominated album “Listen to the World” by Kaleefah.
He is the author of 10 books and 4 plays, including the musical, “Stride”. The soundtrack album he produced for the musical was recognized as “Classic Jazz Album of the Year”.
Much of his work is based in jazz but is influenced by the music of Africa, India and Latin America. He strives to create hybrids of musical styles, and disciplines including music, poetry, dance and video.
